During COVID-19, I wanted a big life change. I left the UK and moved to Taiwan for 2.5 years. There, I taught English at an elementary school to 1st and 2nd grade students. They taught me so much about being a great teacher! I also learned some Chinese - now I really understand how challenging learning a new language can be. For 2 years, I also taught private lessons to Taiwanese teenagers and adults in the evenings and weekends. This means I have special experience helping Chinese speakers with English. I loved living in Taiwan - the food, the people, the culture! Now I want to learn about YOUR country and culture while we build your English skills and confidence together.

My Qualifications

✅ University degree in Sociology
✅ TEFL certified (Teaching English as a Foreign Language)
✅ CELTA qualification - In progress! (Cambridge English Teaching Certificate)
✅ 2+ years teaching experience
✅ Native British English speaker
